The Prince Charles Hospital, Chermside
Provide nursing care at an advanced scope of clinical practice including expanded skills and knowledge in assessment, care planning and implementation, diagnoses, and evaluation of nursing care for a cohort of consumer/patients in the specialty area of heart failure for the Cardiology Service, Heart Lung, TPCH.
This role works collaboratively with the interprofessional team and contributes to enhanced consumer/patient outcomes by actively leading and supporting existing and emerging nurse-led models of care whilst maintaining flexibility and responsiveness to the needs of the health service and consumer populations.

About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Provide specialist nursing interventions that demonstrate an expanded level of nursing knowledge and skills in the practice area of heart failure.
Provide advanced clinical support and leadership through evidence-based practice and professional development, service planning and delivery, and quality initiatives.
Demonstrate the ability to promote, undertake and support research activities to support improved client care and best practice.
Provide clinical leadership, mentorship and support for nurse practitioner candidates and other relevant staff.
