There are two temporary contracts available: Temporary full time to 28 June 2025 with the possibility of extensionTemporary full time to 13 February 2026 maternity leave backfill with the possibility of extensionWhat you will do: Undertake criminal law casework including all related mattersProvide duty lawyer services in the Magistrates and Children's courtsProvide legal information and advice to clients and the publicAbout you: The successful candidate will have: Ability to prepare and appear in all aspects of criminal law cases, in various jurisdictions, in the role of lawyer and lawyer advocateWorking knowledge of criminal law practice and procedureDemonstrated ability to conduct quasi criminal law mattersWhat we can offer you: 36.25 hrs per week (full time hours)12.75% employer super contributionsGenerous salary packaging availableStudy leave for approved work-related courses.Interested?
