Administration Officer Medical Typist/Outpatients Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to effectively provide an efficient and accurate administrative service through the timely provision of medical transcription and typing services, along with a range of valuable support duties as directed as part of the administrative team within the Cardiothoracic Surgery Program.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Provide administrative support within the Cardiothoracic Surgery program - filing, updating patient information on HBCIS and other databases as required and referral processing as directed. Complete functions associated with the waitlisting of patients, bookings for procedures/appointments, managing procedure/appointment cancellations, rescheduling and removals from the waiting list using the relevant information systems in a timely manner. Ability to work as an efficient team member and function effectively with minimal supervision, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines within a changing work environment.
