The Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services (BEMS) at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an Administration Officer to join their team on a temporary basis.
Your opportunity You will have the opportunity to provide and be accountable for delivering and managing a range of administrative support services related to maintenance, purchasing, accounts payable functions, accommodation, telecommunications, and vehicle requirements across the MHHS.
The position is also required to ensure associated processes and documentation are maintained through high-level administration support and ensure delivery of a professional customer-based service with a focus on effective communication and positive outcomes.
About the Team BEMS provide planning, construction, operation, and maintenance of all district physical facilities, engineering systems, plant, and equipment, to meet strategic objectives within a quality environment. BEMS currently consists of professional, operational, administrative, and trade staff. The administration team has two components: the Resources Team, which manages staff accommodation, fleet vehicles, and telecommunications for the district, as well as a Processing Team that manages the administration processes for our maintenance team.
