This is an integral role within the business, responsible for the delivery of jobs across both residential and commercial insurance reinstatement projects, including escape of liquid work.
The Supervisor will manage multiple projects that vary in scale and complexity.
Training will be provided.The Supervisor is ultimately responsible for all site-based operations such as:Engaging trades and monitoring progressForecasting monthly revenue according to project completion datesQuality assuranceAdherence to WH&S standardsManaging budgets resulting in the delivery of quality outcomes for clientsWorking with our Procurement team to onboard and manage our subcontractors and suppliersKey Activities (include but are not limited to the following):Compile and deliver detailed scope of worksCompile and deliver accurate budget breakdowns to allow successful tender results and profitable delivery of construction worksPlan, schedule, and drive multiple small to medium domestic and commercial construction repairsEnsure trades/suppliers adhere to purchase orders, SOW's, and quote requestsEnsure the delivery construction schedules are metEnsure budgets are met to ensure profitability on jobsRequest engagement of new trades and suppliers via company procurement processDrive and monitor adherence to company safety processes on all jobsAccurately forecast and achieve monthly latest forecasted completion dates to ensure revenue targets are metHave a detailed understanding and experience in the construction process, critical inspection points, permit requirements, and WHS requirementsProvide accurate progress updates for internal and external useKey Professional Skills and Qualifications (the following skills and experience are desirable):Solid construction supervision experience in medium to large domestic and commercial construction repairsProven skills in construction estimating for building repairs to both domestic and commercial propertiesExperience working directly with clients, building consultants, and all construction-related trades and suppliersAbility to deal with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting prioritiesInterpersonal skills with an ability to build long-term relationships with both internal and external customersAble to develop business through quality service deliveryExperience in the insurance repair industry is beneficialThorough understanding of the construction process, critical inspection points, permit, and WHS requirementsUnderstanding of relevant Building codes and Australian standardsCertificate IV in Building and Construction or trade background (highly desirable)Our company places a strong emphasis on building long-standing working relationships and encouraging career progression internally.
