Reporting to the Quality, Safety and Environment Manager, this role presents an opportunity for an experienced and driven QHSE Systems Officer to grow within a dynamic and developing company with a nationally recognized Training Award and State based Safety Awards.
The successful candidate must be hard working, highly motivated and committed, be able to work independently and display a high level of attention to detail.
You will be versatile and hands-on, an effective communicator.
About the role This role will be to monitor and maintain the QHSE systems to meet the needs of the Company's Quality, Safety, Environmental and other legal requirements.
Based in Mt Cotton - QLD, you will be working with the Compliance Officer and the QHSE Manager.
In this new role, you will be managing and maintaining several systems, such as:
Document control systemTraceability and safety system (Onside)QHSE document and records (SharePoint)Calibration and inspection of equipmentChemical Management system (Chemwatch)Contractor Management systemYou will be responsible for administering, monitoring and maintaining Darwalla's QHSE Management Systems and standards across multiple company sites.
You will need to have organisational and planning skills which includes use of computer systems.
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience working in a similar role and have a solid understanding of the relevant statutory compliance obligations.
You will enjoy making a contribution as part of a small professional team, demonstrate initiative, as well as a high degree of professionalism in your work.
You will also have strong attention to detail, well-developed communication skills and an ability to work well with both internal and external stakeholders.
