This full-time role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality, health, safety and environmental management within the company.
As the QHSE Manager, you will play a crucial part in ensuring Radiation Professionals Australia maintains the highest standards of compliance and workplace safety.
This role is based out of our Hazelmere office with periodic visits to both Karratha and Onslow.
What you'll be doing Working with managers and employees to ensure WHS and environment management are integral parts of the RPA culture.Managing the company certification under ISO 9001, 14001, 45001Developing, implementing and continually improving the company's quality, health, safety and environmental management systemsConducting regular audits and inspections to monitor compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and internal policiesIdentifying and assessing risks, and implementing appropriate control measuresProviding training and support to employees on QHSE procedures and best practicesMaintaining accurate records and documentation to demonstrate complianceCollaborating with key stakeholders to ensure QHSE objectives are aligned with the overall business strategyStaying up-to-date with changes in QHSE regulations and industry best practicesParticipating in project QHSE progress and client meetings as requiredOverseeing incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actionsWhat we're looking for Degree in a relevant field such as Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management or a related disciplineMinimum of 5 years' experience as a QHSE Manager or in a similar role within the mining, resources or energy industryProven track record of developing and implementing effective QHSE management systemsExcellent knowledge of relevant health, safety and environmental legislation and regulationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address QHSE issuesExceptional communication and stakeholder management abilitiesIncident Investigation and Analysis training (5 Why, ICAM or TapRoot) desirableFlexibility to travel to project sites in various locations across AustraliaAbout the Company RPA are a specialist HazMat company that provides services to the Petroleum, Mining and Resources sector.
