About the opportunityThe Quality Control Scientist will develop and coordinate the associated experimental and documentation activities to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
DutiesScientist position within Quality Control, working under guidance of senior scientistPerforming method development, validation and bench experimentsProject planning, putting together experimental test plansAuthoring protocols and reportsAttending regular meetings as required to go through project plan and report on day to day responsibilitiesRole reports to Head of QCATSkills and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or PharmacyMust have 3 years' experience in cGMP Quality Control, or 1 year's experience in method development for assessment of biological pharmaceutical productsKnowledge of Chromatography, Spectroscopy and Direct Instrumental MeasurementsFamiliarity with LIMs systemFamiliarity with QC lab functionsMust be able to work autonomously but also work well with teamCultureAlthough a large, global company, they are able to provide a family-like culture and pride themselves in improving the lives of others.
