About the opportunity
The QC Analytical Technology Scientist will develop and undertake experimental studies for the implementation of new methods, and innovative technologies and remediating analytical challenges, under the general guidance of Head of QCAT or delegate.
Duties Responsible for the development of experimental plans including estimated materials, times and resources required for the identified work.Accurately record and report time and costs associated with studies and activities.Prepare, review and update standard operating procedures, test procedures, protocols and associated documentation in the performance of QCAT studies and investigations.Provide subject matter knowledge to investigation of deviations, atypical results and method performance issues.Identify, plan and execute testing requirements to complete studies with the appropriate documentation and presentation of results and findings.Provide colleagues with technical assistance, scientific support, and training as required, e.g. provide independent verification and review of data and reports generated within QCAT.Follow documentation and data integrity requirements associated with generation, review and reporting of cGMP activities.Maintain a safe working environment and actively participate in safety investigations and improvements.Support and maintain working in an equitable working environment emphasizing the company Values: Customer Focus, Innovation, Integrity, Collaboration, and Superior Performance. Skills and Experience Must have a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Applied Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering or PharmacyA minimum of 2 years' experience in cGMP Quality Control biological pharmaceutical productsFamiliarity with lab systemsExperience in method development, validation and/or transferProven written and verbal communications skillsUnderstanding of the aspects of analytical methods lifecycle managementGood problem-solving skillsExperience in cGMP testing a plusExperience in training of colleagues a plusExperience with quality management, documentation system and LIMS systems a plus
