Business Reporting Analyst Location: Parramatta Type: 12 month fixed term contract The opportunity We are seeking a Business Reporting Analyst to join the MFC Customer Engagement and Performance team on a 12-month contract. In this role, you will analyse customer data, identify key trends, and provide actionable insights to drive strong customer outcomes and support business decisions. You will also prepare clear and impactful reports, collaborate closely with stakeholders to define key metrics, and contribute to the development of innovative methods for modelling and presenting data. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, skilled in data analysis, and able to build lasting relationships with internal teams to ensure business needs are met and results are achieved.
Your new role Undertake the analysis of customer data and provide insight into data and trends, guiding improvement in customer engagement and performance. Prepare reports that accurately and sufficiently describe business needs and result in desired outcomes. Liaise with the business and stakeholders to identify key metrics and develop reports or business models to monitor these regularly. Collaborate, build, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure business requirements are well communicated and understood. Contribute to the development of new and innovative ways of modelling, presenting and articulating data. Your story so far The candidate we are looking for must be inquisitive, have excellent communication and relationship building skills, combined with a strong desire to analyse and help solve complex business problems.
Experience working with Excel, SQL & Power BI. Ability to story tell through data and verbal communication with a variety of stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong business acumen. Experience in Workers Compensation. Experience with QLIK reporting.
