On behalf of our Global Oilfield Services organisation, NES Fircroft are looking for an experienced QA/QC Inspector to join an exciting and dynamic team, based in Jandakot.The QA/QC Inspector is the focal point inspection activities from receipt to in-process and final release of product managed by Subsea Services.Job ResponsibilitiesQuality Control TasksInspection of Subsea equipment, ensuring that all items are in compliance with the GE O&G and customer requirementsComplete and verify inspection activities at all stages of the process from receipt to in-process and final release (visual, dimensional, hardness, etc)Witness and verification of acceptance testing. Reviews the results of such tests for compliance with requirementsCreates, maintains and records/reports for inspection activitiesIdentifies, reports and quarantines non-conforming productWork cross-functionally with engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality to drive excellence in product qualityQuality Assurance TasksAssist with production of reports, manufacturers databooks and certificates of conformance suitable for presentation to the customerAssist with review and approve Qualified Vendor Quality Plans (QMP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and Completed Quality Certificates (e.g. CoC, NDT, Coating, etc)Assist with preparation and submission of additional quality reports as requiredAssist with tracking and management of NC productAssist with management of M&ME Generic Quality TasksSupport and promote regulatory compliance of QMSEnsure safe practices are used in compliance with all governmental regulationsEnsures that all aspects of Quality are maintained in line with the company Quality PolicyComplete additional quality responsibilities as allocatedPosition RequirementsMetal &/or Engineering Trade CertificateAdditional Formal Quality Qualifications desirable (e.g. NDT, Welding, Coating, etc.)Min. 5 years industry &/or Inspection experienceDetailed knowledge of inspection and metrology techniques and processesThorough understanding of manufacturing drawings and specificationsKnowledge of current industry standardsDetailed knowledge of requirements associated with the control of monitoring and measuring devices.Experienced and familiar with the requirements of formal Quality Management Systems and standards, such as ISO 9001:2008 and API Q1/Q2/6AAbility to handle multiple issues / priorities while working towards agreed schedules and deadlinesKnowledge of Subsea equipmentWorking knowledge of NDT, Coating, Machining processesPlease apply today if this sounds like you!* Australian working right required to apply *With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
