Qantas Engineering keeps us at the forefront of aviation maintaining both the Qantas fleet, as well as aircraft for our third-party customers, our technical capability underpins the success of Qantas.
As an Offshore Supply Chain Support Coordinator , you will be responsible for working with the offshore base MRO in support of QE base checks. This position will work closely with the MRO, QE on site Check Coordinator and Team Leader Line and Base Event Management to coordinate the supply of parts required to support the base check. This will include tracking of parts delivery, return of unserviceable parts, transacting parts usage in SUPPLY and raising and receipting demands in support of parts required for the check.
You'll have –
Demonstrated experience in Qantas supply chain functions of purchasing, repair, warehousing and inventory management Proficient in SUPPLY, MS Teams, Mxi, Outlook, ONBASE, QMS, eSchenker, QF Freight, Excel, and SUPPLY macros. Strong understanding of aircraft Line and base maintenance operations. Creative and flexible problem solving. Strong communication skills both verbal and written Excellent interpersonal skills including being culturally sensitive Strong ability to deliver under pressure and manage time as needed. Strong ability to work alone to achieve objectives Be an independent worker who is self-driven and proactive Why Qantas?
