The Commercial Performance Analyst is responsible for improving and transforming Qantas' performance with a financial, programmatic and strategic lens. You will partner with the commercial business stakeholders to report on, plan and forecast the business' expected revenue, with a focus on international network passenger revenue. This position also uses key financial analytics and modelling to assist in the forecast process and involves presenting insights to senior leaders.
You'll Have 4+ years' experience in a similar role. Tertiary qualifications in the relevant field with CA/CPA completed or in progress. Previous experience in an analyst role with strong attention to detail. Strong analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate impact of drivers to financial and non-financial stakeholders. Demonstrated stakeholder management skills and an ability to build positive and collaborative relationships with commercial business and finance stakeholders. Understanding of business unit's impact on the organisation's strategy, operations and commercial context and develops and produces performance reporting that meets the business needs. Mature and proactive approach, understanding that the role has aspects of repetition as well as the more complex and intricate analysis. Able to effectively use systems and analytical tools to generate reports utilising data from a variety of sources. Ability to work individually and within a team to resolve complex issues.
