Altrad's multidisciplinary services range from engineering and technical services to maintenance, access solutions and specialised services for industry leaders.About the roleWorking onsite of a major oil and gas project, on a 2:2 roster from Perth, the role of QA/QC Manager is responsible for providing direction and support to project teams, implementing and maintaining Quality Management Plans, and promptly addressing any non-conformances.
Additionally, you will oversee site quality procedures, conduct audits, and provide guidance to site personnel.Your day-to-day responsibilities include:Working in conjunction with the Project Manager, provide suitable resources for the effective management of the quality management system established for the Contract.Maintain overall responsibility to ensure that all inspections, testing and verification activities are effectively completed.Ensure all non-conformances are reported and corrective action implemented effectively.Monitor and provide resolution to the disposition of non-conformance reports (NCR) and corrective action requests (CAR) to ensure agreed dates are met.Develop internal and Subcontractor quality audit programmes.Monitor the compilation and submission of MDRs.Review and implement procedures and systems of work that are relevant to the site.About youOil and Gas industry experience including 5 years in QA/QC as well as holding NACE certification.Contemporary and leading-edge knowledge and expertise of Quality management (strategic and operational) practices, standards, systems and processes relevant to the operations of the group.Sound knowledge of Quality legislation, industry and best-practice standards and their relevance to the group.Engineering background or previous experience in working in an engineering or contracting environment is essential.Strong leadership and seasoned people management skills.Why you should work for AltradWe provide the benefits you'd expect from a global company, but what makes us different?Our Opportunities: Embark on a thrilling journey with us, tackling diverse and exciting challenges on some of the world's most prominent resources, energy, and infrastructure projects.Our Vibrant Culture: Immerse yourself in a dynamic atmosphere where problem-solving is a way of life.
