Alltype Engineering has been operating since 1985 and our longevity is a result of the capability of our team, our culture and the ability to collaboratively deliver contracts and projects for our clients whilst maintaining a flexible and innovative approach to finding solutions to challenges Job Description An exciting opportunity to be involved in the fabrication and testing of Hydrogen process piping. The successful applicant will be reporting to the QC team Lead. The role will be responsible for (but not limited to): Understand and implement customer QC requirements for the project. Be involved in the welding inspection and testing of piping with emphasis Hardness testing, Requesting PWHT, Preparation for Hydro testing. Carry out Hydro test inspections, verify reports and assist with reinstatement of spools for Surface treatment. Checks all welds are visually acceptable and work with QC inspectors to confirm all testing and verification checks are complete. Assist with final inspection of pipe spools for later assembly onto Gas compression skids. Review and assist Project Managers with Hold and Witness points on ITPs Liaise with Project Managers, Supervisors and Checkers to manage the QA/QC requirements of the project. Opportunity for travel to site or subcontractor workshops from time to time as required. Qualifications Hold a CSWIP 3.1 certificate (minimum) Must have relevant Trade Qualification or hands on Quality control background. Minimum 5 years industry experience (preferred) Piping workshop experience preferred.
