Your opportunity Novafast has now an exciting, full-time opportunity for a QA/QC Engineer to join our team in Kilkenny, SA. You must have a willingness to learn and expand your knowledge in areas within this industry.
Your responsibilities will include Prepare Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plan (ITP's) for projects and manage on a project-to-project basis.Develop and assist all technical manufacturing procedures and processes, quality documents, and records of Novafast's quality system to ensure compliance with ISO 9001. Ensure all quality project filing is appropriately organised.Oversee all quality incoming goods including raw materials and products. Including visiting suppliers for materials or products to gather specific information in line with project's needs.Perform quality tasks such as measuring manufactured parts to drawing specifications and client requirements maintaining registers for manufactured parts for quality acceptance.Oversee all production and fabrication parts for quality and assist production team to achieve minimal rejection ratesManage all Non-Conforming Reports (NCR's) with production team and maintain register.Assist with Research & Development (R&D) including ensuring products comply to industry standards. Reviewing quality of parts prior to planned laboratory experiments.Assist and perform Laboratory testing and report writingAssist drafting as requiredLiaise with inspection authorities for inspection, testing and acceptance.The following qualification/ skills would be essential Bachelor's degree in engineeringQuality experience 1-3 years.Experience in the manufacturing or fabrication process of composites.Must have the right to work in Australia and a current driver's license and police clearancePlease Note: Short listed applicants will be contacted.
