The Role: Are you a passionate QA Lead with a track record for building high-performance teams and achieving extraordinary business outcomes? The position of the QA Lead holds a leadership role with people management of up to 3 QAs.
Reporting directly to the QA Practice Lead, this role carries the responsibility of leading a team of QAs to undertake all quality engineering activities required to deliver technology solutions that meet the business needs.
Responsibilities: Leading your team to undertake testing activities required to deliver high-quality technology solutions to meet the business needs.Apply Test modelling techniques & QA best practices to help the delivery teams improve in building quality solutions.Drives a culture where teams own quality and work towards defect prevention on top of defect detection.Ensure the teams are thinking about best ways to measure the quality of the solutions and track it across time.Drive improvement of measurement & visualisation of quality metrics.Direct line management of a group of QA Engineers of up to 8.Responsible for test planning and execution across web and API applications.About you: You must have recent experience using Playwright; this is essential for the role.Develop and maintain test cases and test data for functional, integration, performance, and security testing of APIs.Utilize and manage testing tools and frameworks such as Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, and others.Proven experience in an Agile working environment.Strong stakeholder skills and a natural ability to influence outcomes.Experience in integrating test automation frameworks with a CI/CD model and tools.Extensive testing experience with hands-on test automation experience in web and API.Ability to lead & mentor others and is not afraid of conflict/resolution.Inclusion and Accessibility We believe in everyone's potential and strive to make Medibank inclusive for all because different perspectives make us better.
