About The Role: We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our dynamic team, dedicated to delivering high-quality software solutions.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and executing test plans, enhancing automation, and ensuring seamless product functionality.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities: Participate in planning, reviewing system requirements, and translating them to test scenarios.Work closely with the product owner to help define acceptance criteria wherever necessary.Estimate, prioritize, plan, and conduct testing activities.Perform testing (manually and automation).Increase test coverage & identify opportunities for test automation.Develop, execute & maintain test automation scripts.Identify, record and track defects.
Perform thorough regression when defects are resolved.Develop and apply testing processes, and recommend improvements in product to enhance user experience.Liaise with internal teams (e.g.
developers and product manager) to identify system requirements.Evaluate tool capabilities, hardware, and software requirements to meet any test objectives.Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a QA Software Engineer.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.Demonstrated expertise in web application testing, product testing, and a thorough understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Proficient in Restful API testing and experienced with black-box and automated testing approaches.Proficiency in tools such as Postman, Cypress, or Selenium.Strong practical knowledge of programming languages, specifically JavaScript or Python.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and JIRA for issue tracking and project management.Experience in performance testing is considered advantageous.Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision.Extensive experience working in Agile development environments.
