A little about the role...
We have a newly created opportunity for a mid-level QA Engineer to join our team in a role which can be performed from anywhere in Australia. Reporting to our Delivery Lead and supporting our Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing tests to ensure software meets quality standards before deployment. You will work closely with our development teams to identify and resolve defects, improve testing processes, and contribute to overall product quality. Once you're up to speed, there should be the opportunity to own full streams of work and contribute to embedding a culture of continuous improvement to quality.
You could be the one if you have...
Previous experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. Previous experience working in product companies will be highly regarded but is not mandatory. Strong manual testing skills, with experience in exploratory, functional, regression testing. Experience with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA & Zephyr Scale. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, which includes experience collaborating closely with Software Engineers, Business Analysts and Designers. Familiarity with mobile application testing. Critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems you haven't encountered before. The ability to collaborate effectively within an asynchronous working environment and to re-prioritise as needed. ISTQB certification or similar QA qualifications will be highly regarded but is not mandatory. What we offer
