About the Role We are looking for a QA Coordinator to effectively maintain and improve MITO's Business Management System, support process and system improvement initiatives and continue to evolve our quality compliance and excellence.
This position can be based in either Brisbane or Perth, with some, albeit infrequent, travel expected.
This position reports directly to our experienced Quality Manager.
Responsibilities BMS Management & Compliance
Effectively planning and controlling MITO's Business Management System (BMS) including developing and updating documentation, communicating requirements or updates and providing or organising relevant training. Ensuring policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance with legal requirements, government reporting regulations and accredited standards. Periodically organising, managing, and representing MITO during internal and external audits. Collecting, tracking and reporting on quality KPIs based on set objectives and targets. Reviewing and monitoring Supplier and Subcontractor QA/QC processes to ensure contract requirements are met. Identifying, investigating and reporting non-conformance products/services (NCRs) and identifying the corrective and preventative actions. Supporting and overseeing the document control system and processes. Projects & Process Improvement
Proactively identifying opportunities for internal process improvement. Managing the planning, development and execution of process improvement initiatives designed to improve MITO's quality practices and systems. Supporting API Spec Q2 implementation and other certifications that MITO seeks, guiding the business through the certification process and ensuring effective stakeholder engagement throughout. Quality Support
Supporting and assisting Operations and other departments with QA and inspection-related queries. Undertaking inspection and verification processes (when assigned) according to product specifications and related Standards Providing technical input and assistance in developing and reviewing quality documentation for the business and other departments and inspection records for operations Liaising with Customers when required to ensure their QA queries are resolved in a timely matter Qualifications Essential: Internal auditor qualification (Management System – ISO 9001 or similar)
Experience & Skills Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role (inspection/quality) within oil, gas and mining industries. Proven experience in working with Quality Management Systems aligned with ISO 9001. Internal audit experience and experience managing external audits. Demonstrated skills in understanding and interpretation of relevant Australian and International standards, both technical and those related to management systems. Previous experience in preparing and reviewing QA and inspection reports, including test reports and MDRs. Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and techniques.
