Job Description - QA Completion Engineer (261937) About the role The QA Completions Engineer reports to the QA Completions Manager and is responsible and accountable for the development and maintenance of an integrated document management system for the project; this will ensure the project complies with all policies and applicable legislation and recognized standards for the workplace. Where legislation or policies are not adequate, this position will ensure that best practice management techniques are adopted to reflect the commitment to the highest standards.
The role includes the following duties but is not limited to:
Coordinate completion and handback activities and record collaboration.Coordinate commissioning and construction handover records.Coordinate the submission of project and contract deliverables.Proactively engage stakeholders to actively drive the completions and handover process.Ensure vendor documentation is reviewed and approved before commencement of work.Develop Work Instructions, Procedures, and Training Material.Provide guidance, support, and coaching on handover requirements.Manage and update the Completion QA record & reports.Assist with the development, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Hexagon application.Ensure work lots are created in Team Binder and Raising the H/W Point Notification in Team Binder.Ensure work lots are created in Hexagon and ITP, ITR task has been allocated to the relevant work lots.Conduct process audits/data analysis on the Completions, Commissioning, and Construction Handover process and deliverables.About you You will possess a recognised engineering qualification relevant to the position and have at least 2 years' Project Engineer with Quality Assurance experience in the overall coordination of quality assurance, compliance, and completion processes on large projects like the Project Works and Temporary Works.
Experience on Major Construction/infrastructure industry projects.
Degree in electrical engineering.
2+ years of relevant experience in Tunnel/Construction and Quality Assurance experience.
Strong computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands.
WORK EXPERIENCE Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
