Reporting to the Head of Finance and Commercial, the Group Financial Controller will lead a team of finance professionals to deliver accurate financial and lender reporting and ensure that robust controls are in place whilst enabling a platform for business insight and value add is delivered. The role will assist in leading finance towards the vision of being a 'true business partner' by ensuring the base accounting is accurate and reliable. In doing so, the incumbent will form strong relationships with key business stakeholders both locally and globally.
We are looking for someone who has cut their teeth in one of the Big Four Accounting Firms at Senior Manager level. In addition, blue chip company experience for 1-5 years looking to use those skills in a leadership role with significant exposure to the Executive Leadership Team.

Key Accountabilities: Strategic Support Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making Partner with business units on financial matters Support M&A activities with financial due diligence Identify and implement process improvements Contribute to finance transformation initiatives Financial Reporting and Control Oversee the preparation and delivery of group consolidated financial statements Manage statutory reporting requirements across all group entities Maintain the group's accounting policies and procedures Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements Lead external audit processes and relationships Team Leadership Lead and develop the financial accounting, AR and AP teams Set clear objectives and performance expectations Provide technical guidance and mentoring Manage team workload and resource allocation Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement Process and Systems Maintain and enhance internal control frameworks Oversee month-end and year-end close processes Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and system integration Manage financial systems and reporting tools Ensure data integrity and security Requirements: CA/CPA qualification Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance Big4 Trained up to Senior Manager followed by Corporate experience 10+ years relevant experience Demonstrated team leadership experience Advanced technical accounting knowledge This role is five days per week in their new Rhodes headquarters.
