About the Role: The Developer will work as part of a project team to apply, design, and develop code to integrate third party software and hardware products for a complex software defined infrastructure project.
Role Responsibilities: Design and implement software components as part of an Infrastructure-as-Code project.Assist infrastructure engineers to integrate multiple third-party infrastructure products to produce a software defined data centre.Participate in complex architectural design & implementation planning sessions.Participate in code reviews and action test plans.Create and maintain informative software, system, and process documentation.Assist in the creation of detailed technical documentation.Integrate software components using a CI/CD toolchain.Use a test-driven development approach to software production.Actively participate in continuous process measurement, review, and improvement.Assist project members with the investigation and resolution of complex development problems.Essential Experience: 4+ years of Python programming experience.Ansible experience specifically Ansible module extensions.Network device management experience.Ability to handle debugging and performance analysis.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, such as those required to generate and document complex test plans.Experience with test driven development, CI/CD pipelines (particularly Gitlab), and code review.Exposure to software defined infrastructure projects.To be considered for the role click the 'apply' button or for more information about this and other opportunities please contact Elsa Ambrosini on 0452426715 or email: ****** and quote the above job reference number.
