About the job Tableau & PowerBI Administration - 7+ years of experience in support and maintenance of Tableau, Power BI, and Alteryx environments.
- Experience in administration, installation, configuration, and migration of Tableau & Power BI applications.
- Act as Single Point of Contact and support SME for the BI applications.
- Ability to manage and work with offshore team members.
- Experience with backup and restore of Tableau server, upgrades, and migrations.
- Create sites, users, user groups, and manage access privileges.
- Configure Tableau Server, administer users, and set up email alerts for system failures.
- Keep servers up to date with regular software patches and recommendations.
- Analyze, replicate, and conduct root cause analysis of issues.
- Good knowledge of production migration, resolving performance issues, and report scheduling.
- Experience in ticket handling with SLAs (P1/P2/P3).
- Create database connections and DSN configurations.
- Document processes, change implementations, and incidents.
- Design and develop data visualizations using Tableau and Power BI.
- Work with business to deliver dashboards and train users on visualization tools.
- Flexibility with timings as per client needs.
- Experience working with ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
- Ability to interact with vendors.
- Experience working with Power BI Service, workspaces, and Excel add-ons.
- Development experience with Power BI, Tableau, and Azure is desired.
