Responsibility 1 – Technical Solutions Architecture
Understand business challenges to develop cost and time effective technical solutions in collaboration with the broader architecture team.
Design and implement information system architectures to support domain initiatives.
Directs the design approach for key stakeholders and project resources.
Produce solution architecture artefacts for communication, alignment, and prioritisation purposes.
Defines and apply architecture principles to solutions.
Creates architecture overviews, solution designs, and business communications.
Defines target state architectures for the business with input and consideration from business stakeholders and the broader architecture team.
Model business scenarios using IT appropriate notation formats including use cases, system diagrams, and data models.
Support the documentation of development, configuration, and integration plans.
Provide technical architecture assistance to the broader architecture team, business stakeholders, project teams, and IT.
Ensure alignment between project delivery and the technical architecture. Responsibility 2 – Project Management
Adapts to the most appropriate methodology for business success (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
Maintains requirements backlogs.
Takes responsibility for project outcomes related to design and delivery. Responsibility 3 – Stakeholder Engagement
Provides thought leadership to the company regarding better uses of technology to address business and IT needs.
Participates in and conducts workshops to develop outcomes.
Creates and maintains relationships with industry peers, partners, vendors, and suppliers. Position Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in information technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or considerable demonstrated experience (10+ years). Experience implementing the Primavera P6 application. Experience implementing the InEight suite of applications. Demonstrated high level of working knowledge and experience within utilities (or a similar regulated business environment), particularly within the electrical industry. Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills to facilitate open sharing of complex information between various areas of functional expertise. Demonstrated technical and analytical skills with the ability to develop effective technical architecture solutions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
