Job Description: Network Engineer: Must Have: Intermediate to advanced configuring and troubleshooting knowledge of switches and routers in a network production environment (switches, Cisco Nexus, Cisco 3650, Cisco Meraki). Basic to intermediate skill in troubleshooting voice systems – Mitel 3300 CX Controller, Mi voice Business Virtual for Enterprise, T1/E1 Combo MMC (PRI). At least three years of experience in supporting F5 LTM Load balancers. Sound knowledge of DWDM. Sound knowledge of disaster recovery activities. Good analytical and troubleshooting skills (the ability to think logically through a problem) and must have the initiative, perseverance, and commitment to see problems through to resolution. Ownership of the root cause analysis process and ensure remediation of major issues. Ability to provide assistance in a support capacity with problem and incident resolution and assume major incident and problem ownership and accountability. Ensure 24/7 availability of the production environment and lead the daily operations of the production environment. Be available for after-hours support, on-call, and perform maintenance. Participate in Change Advisory Board Review Meetings with customers. Build monitoring tools to ensure system availability, resource utilization, and capacity. Create network services dashboard providing insights into capacity, activities, and SLA measurements. Should be able to perform upgrades on Cisco routers/switches/WLC whenever required. Drive continuous improvement and process change suggestion to management. Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning. Configure and implement the backup tools for auto configuration on Network devices. Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure. Ability to handle multiple projects within timeline. Document issues, create knowledge base articles, and update the inventory. Manage Data Center operations for hardware installation and during maintenance whenever required. Good communication skills and a team player. Technologies: L2/L3 Switching – STP, RSTP, PVSTP, MSTP, IGMP, Multicast. Routing – WAN/LAN (OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, Static, and MPLS). Cisco Wireless – WLC, Access Points. DWDM. F5 LTM Load Balancers. Monitoring Tools - Manage Engine (PRTG). MiTel Telephony. Ticketing Tools – Jira. Qualification: Bachelor's degree in network administration, information technology, or computer science. Experience supporting technical enterprise solutions. Previous experience in IT, security or systems support, or network administrator positions preferred. Must hold network certification – CCNA/CCNP – Routing/Switching. Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform well under pressure.
