About the job ETL-DW Test Manager (BFSI Domain) Job Description of ETL-DW Test Manager (BFSI Domain) in Australia: Key Responsibilities: Delivery of multiple testing projects to approved scope, budget, schedule, and quality expectations. Responsible for working closely with external testing service providers to deliver test functions. Responsible for assurance activities across all test deliverables such as review of test estimates, strategies, schedules, plans and completion reports. Management and influence of key testing stakeholders and project sponsors. Promote and instil test process excellence, efficiency, and reduced cost to project deployment. Manage testing vendors to quality commitments. Definition of Test Strategy for BI projects. Performing a combined lead and test execution role on large pieces of project work as assigned by the Solution Design and Test Governance Manager. Key Tasks: Project planning, resourcing and scheduling of their assigned engagements and provide support to Business Operations for delivery planning of other engagements. Provide leadership to internal and external teams, assist teams as required with the delivery of services. Be the go-to person for staff and customer delivery issues. Ensure services and product delivery to clients meets client expectations and adhere to Customer delivery requirements. Provide guidance on delivery methods. Perform quality assurance for engagement deliverables (with assistance from Principals and Capability Leads). Ensure risk management is in place and applied to the delivery of engagement. Experience Required: 10+ years experience in governing and managing the IT testing function, preferably within a financial service organisation. Experience leading large teams and programs for delivery of technical outcomes. Proven reporting and documentation skills including the creation of strategic and tactical plans, producing reports for various audiences and the drafting of functional and non-functional test cases. Agile delivery lead experience. Expertise with CI/CD and continuous testing. Experience providing support for teams in excess of 20 staff. Experience in managing outcomes and/or capabilities within large enterprise environments. Strong risk management ability to assess projects, clients and environments for risks that may impact the business. Desired Skillset: Compliance/Regulatory experience. Banking/Finance background. Skills Required: Previous successful test management of several projects including at least 5 years' experience as a Test Manager is essential. Deep knowledge of the software Systems Development Lifecycle is essential. Deep knowledge of test processes, practices and methods is essential. A proven track record of managing and delivering successful test outcomes in a complex environment is essential. Prior knowledge of software products from Netezza /AWS / SAS / Cognos/ Tableau is highly desirable. Prior experience working in the Business Intelligence domain is highly desirable.
