Business Analyst - Utilities Domain - 2 Positions About the Job: The Business Analyst will work within the Utilities Domain, engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.
Required Technical Skills: Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Creative thinking and collaboration with teams to address business challenges. Decision-making skills related to requirement prioritization and solution viability. Effective requirement gathering, including asking the right questions and understanding received information. Strong documentation and writing skills, including creating use cases and presenting findings to senior leaders. Ability to manage stakeholder meetings. 10+ years of relevant experience. Location: Onsite – Perth, Australia or Offshore - India. Desired Competencies: Proficiency in standard office software applications, including MS Word. Functional understanding of Power Transmission and Distribution. Experience with customer interactions and working in a multi-vendor environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write procedures, guidelines, and O&M documentation. Responsibilities / Expectations from the Role: Gathering, validating, and documenting business requirements. Analyzing commercial data such as budgets, sales results, and forecasts. Modeling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements. Identifying issues, risks, and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts. Creating functional specifications for solutions. Estimating costs and identifying business savings. Simplifying information and deciphering technical jargon for team understanding.
