Our Newcastle Tax teamis expanding and we're looking for a Senior Associateto join our vast community of solvers. TheNewcastle Tax teambrings our purpose to life by working with a range of clients in the Hunter across a varietyof industries through all stages of their business life cycle including growth and succession/exit.
You'll help solve complex problems by using your skills to:
being part of a team that provides complex tax and accounting advice to clients including tax consolidation, restructuring advice and involvement in M&A transactions
assist clients to manage engagement with tax authorities such as review and audit a activity
contribute to the preparation of effective tax strategies to optimise client tax positions
ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations and staying informed of any changes
help prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to clients and senior leaders
provide business advisory and compliance services including the preparing financial statements and tax returns for a range of clients including small to medium business, large corporates and high net wealth individuals
In our Newcastle team, your impact will be seen by:
Successfully managing a portfolio of clients with support from senior team members
Applying practical skills and experience to support clients make informed decisions and complying with income tax obligations
Strong communication skills, ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and the team
