Our Newcastle Tax team is expanding and we're looking for a Manager to join our vast community of solvers. The Newcastle Tax team brings our purpose to life by working with a range of clients in the Hunter across a variety of industries through all stages of their business life cycle including growth and succession/exit.
You'll help solve complex problems by using your skills to: Be part of a team that provides complex tax and accounting advice to clients including tax consolidation, restructuring advice and involvement in M&A transactions. Assist clients to manage engagement with tax authorities such as review and audit activity. Oversee the preparation of effective tax strategies to optimise client tax positions. Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations and staying informed of any changes. Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to clients and senior leaders. Provide business advisory and compliance services including preparing financial statements and tax returns for a range of clients including small to medium businesses, large corporates and high net wealth individuals. In our Newcastle team, your impact will be seen by: Successfully managing a portfolio of clients. Mentoring and coaching junior team members. Applying practical skills and experience to support clients in making informed decisions and complying with income tax obligations.
