Our PwC Private, Business Tax team in Sydney is expanding and we're looking for a Director to join our vast community of solvers. The Business Tax team brings our purpose to life by working with clients throughout their entire business lifecycle, from supporting growing privately-owned businesses, entrepreneurs, and start-ups, to estate and succession planning, to wealth preservation, and everything in between. We provide holistic solutions that ensure our clients can grow and protect their businesses and wealth with confidence.
You'll help solve complex problems by using your skills in:
Accounting and and financial statements (CA or CPA is advantageous)
Tax compliance and advisory for private businesses
Analysing complex financial data and tax issues and experience with tax filings and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
Digital tools and platforms used in tax preparation and financial reporting
Client engagement and managing client needs and expectations
In our PwC Private Business Tax team, your impact will be seen by:
Working with clients across a wide range of industries (financial services, tech, manufacturing, consumer, retail) through all stages of their business life cycle including;growth and succession/exit, developing solutions for the complex problems that arise in each stage.
Contributing your expertise to assist with complex corporate tax compliance and consulting advice, domestic tax issues including consolidation, restructuring advice, involvement in M&A transactions and ATO engagements.
Working closely with our clients to understand their business needs, uncovering future growth opportunities.
Mentoring junior onshore staff and investing in their career development.
Building on your existing skills and knowledge through participating in both formal and informal training programmes.
