Our Finance team is expanding and we're looking for a Accounts Payables Senior Associate to join our vast community of solvers. The Finance team brings our purpose to life by providing a wide range of services aimed at standardising and improving the way we do business in the firm. Team members within F&O work alongside leadership to operationalise a number of strategic initiatives and influence key decision-makers to drive successful business outcomes.
You'll help solve complex problems by using your skills in:
Using feedback and reflection to develop self-awareness, personal strengths and address development areas. Delegating to others to provide stretch opportunities, coaching them to deliver results. Demonstrating critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems. Using a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current industry or sector trends. Reviewing your work and that of others for quality, accuracy and relevance. Knowing how and when to use tools available for a given situation and can explain the reasons for this choice. Seeking and embracing opportunities which give exposure to different situations, environments and perspectives. Using straightforward communication, in a structured way, when influencing and connecting with others. Being able to read situations and modify behaviour to build quality relationships. Upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct. In our Finance team, your impact will be seen by:
Being involved in operational management including escalated queries, analysis of accounts payable transactions and provision of insights into trends and opportunities for improvement and automation. Having a change mindset to support in driving process improvement including process change control and documentation and firm wide projects. Producing ad hoc and periodic reports. Supporting supplier management activities including correspondence with suppliers. Team management including offshore operations and analytics. The ability to analyse and action data related to unusual or questionable invoices. Strong problem-solving skills to investigate invoice discrepancies and issues, propose and evaluate solutions and take action to resolve. Having excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a member of a team. About PwC
