Here in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region where this role is based, you'll be joining a team of 700+ professionals spread across 25 offices throughout Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore.
As the APAC Pursuits Manager, you will be working alongside some of the world's leading advisors and technicians on projects of global importance in the environmental space.
What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Head of Marketing – Asia Pacific as our new Pursuits Manager, you'll be a key member of our APAC-wide marketing team, bringing proven experience developing responses to request for proposals, master service agreements, and statement of qualifications. We'll also look to you to have excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, superior organisational and time-management skills, and the ability to work on multiple competing priorities with technical staff across the business.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Preparation of proposals and responses to clients in accordance with established style and content requirements. Participation in quality assurance, ensuring proposals adhere to client requirements. Development of proposal outline documents, schedule/facilitate contributions of all parties, ensure RFP compliance, draft standard proposal sections, facilitate reviews, and perform quality control on final document. Participation in proposal strategy and review meetings. Where several disciplines are involved in a submission, coordinate the information from the various disciplines in a manner that the submission has a uniform and coherent appearance, as well as a singular voice. Where appropriate, conceptualise and integrate graphics to convey proposed solutions. Manage the production of proposal documents. Collaboration in the preparation of materials required for selection interviews. Assisting with the development and maintenance of proposal tools/repository. Managing, monitoring and maintaining opportunity procurement sites. Cultural fit and shared vision are very important to SLR. Collaborative: you enjoy working with others, know how to work effectively within diverse teams, and excel in communicating ideas and messages to various audiences. Qualifications
Post-secondary degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, environmental sciences or an equivalent level of experience. 5 years of experience in proposal development or similar environment. Previous experience with consulting or engineering and/or a demonstrated ability to understand technical terminology is preferred. Strong MS Office skills, and experience with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign and Photoshop. Experience with RFP compliance and quality assurance. Strong researching, writing, proofing, formatting and editing skills. Understanding of basic financial terms and functions, along with experience working with budgets and schedules (e.g., Gantt charts). Understanding of technical language and documentation.
