Working with this family-owned Australian wholesaler, you will be responsible for the acquisition of goods and services needed in the general course of business, accomplished through the ordering, approving and control of inventory. Based in the Auburn area, this opportunity requires an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. The Role Management of Stock PurchasesManage the processing of all goods received on MYOBPrompt and efficient follow up of purchase ordersPlace orders on vendors for stock, non-stock itemsLiaise with Accounts for processing of end of month statementsManagement of Inventory and documentation of stock kept within the warehouseAssist with the unloading of stock in the Warehouse, and repack room, using a ForkliftWork closely with the Customer Service Manager to provide support across daily tasks The Candidate A proven track record in a similar role, particularly within Oil or MechanicsStrong analytical skills and ability to interpret reports and dataStrong Excel skills, MYOB, and valid Forklift ticket is a requirement for this roleExcellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skillsAbility to multi-task and work unsupervised and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentMaturity and a sense of urgencyHigh attention to detail and accuracyExcellent interpersonal, communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers and suppliers Benefits Permanent opportunityAuburn areaWork for a family owned and operated businessBusy, fast-paced roleDynamic team and supportive cultureMonday to Friday, no weekend work or rotating roster!Discretionary Bonus!
