An organisation with a purpose to bring communities together, currently represented by over 200 different cultures. About the Role: We're recruiting a temporary Procurement Manager for 2-3 months. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating procurement activities end to end, strategic and operational advice to the Executive Leadership Team. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the procurement process for all goods, services and contracts that are essential. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional negotiation skills, a thorough understanding of government procurement policies and procedures and ability to collaborate with the business on best practice. Role and Responsibilities: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project objectives and government regulations Lead the procurement tender processes in sourcing, evaluating and selecting suppliers for goods and services required for key projects Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify procurement needs, strategy, budget, scope of works and timely delivery of required resources Manage end to end procurement process, including drafting tender documents, evaluating scorecards, contract negotiation, communication with external suppliers prepare reports and presentations for senior management and other key stakeholders on outcomes and challenges provide building facilities management services to ensure that contracts are managed in accordance with agreed budgets A working knowledge and understanding of OHS legislation and obligations under OHS laws Skills and Experience: Proven experience in procurement management, preferably in sport, entertainment, or a large-scale project environment In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations, policies and procedures. demonstrated knowledge and experience of procurement and contracts framework, contract management Experience leading and managing finance and procurement teams and coordinating work in a fast-paced environment achieving targets and delivery outcomes High level of integrity and commitment to upholding ethical standards in procurement practices Strong conceptual, analytical, reporting and problem solving skills Click on APPLY NOW or contact Arvin on ****** for further information.
