About the role This large resources business, long seen as an employer of choice due to their flexibility and supportive culture, has a rare opportunity to join the team on a contract basis initially for a short term contract.
Your responsibilities will include: Working with procurement, commercial & project stakeholders to manage all procurement/sourcing, tendering and negotiation activities for your projects.
Providing contract management and administration support to contract owners throughout the contract life-cycle.
Building strong connections with key stakeholders to become a respected contract specialist.
Assist in updating contracts and/or expanding scopes of work.
Assist in tendering, negotiation of complex and high value contracts.
Lead negotiations with suppliers, and manage contracts from start to finish.
Work collaboratively with the wider business to deliver procurement & project outcomes to tight time frames.
What you will need to apply: Proven ability to successfully manage all stages of the procurement and contracting life cycle on a project basis.
5 years experience in procurement and/or contracts management in heavy industry, resources, energy, utilities, infrastructure/construction etc.
This is a Perth based role, work from home flexibility is available.
