Our Pilgangoora Project is one of the largest, hard-rock lithium operations in the world THE OPPORTUNITY: Reporting to the Purchasing and Procurement Lead, the Purchasing and Procurement Officer is to provide day to day support to the Company's operations and support offices by purchasing and expediting the supply of goods and services, in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the continuity of the Company's operation. This is a permanent full-time position that operates on a FIFO 8:6 roster from Perth or DIDO from Port Hedland. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Purchasing Raise monthly Purchase Orders (PO's) for goods and services required by Company's operations Run and review the Company's inventory Re-order report to ensure correct level of Goods are procured. Raise and issue PO's to the Company approved Suppliers in line with the Company's inventory Re-order report. Identify reliable suppliers and seek quotations for the procurement of new goods and services required by the Company. Assist the Company Warehouse operations to maintain the correct level of reagents and place orders for these reagents as required Assist with Company site services and maintenance teams with the sourcing, mobilisation and demobilisation of minor plant and equipment required for operations / maintenance activities (forklifts, skids, generators, and pumps. Etc) Maintaining strong supplier relationships. Expediting Daily Expediting of materials and services in order to secure the timely delivery to Site. Expediting of specific goods and equipment required for the scheduled shutdown of the Company's Operations. Ensure open communication with the Company's operations and / or maintenance teams aimed at ensuring possible delays to deliveries are communicated to the end user and escalate if required. Coordinating deliveries with the warehouse against limiting storage capacities. Assist with the track and trace process of rotables sent off site for repairs. Assist with daily management and flow of all reagents to and from site. Assist with the maintenance and accuracy of the Company's Pronto master data system. Other Mentoring and training the site team in the use of Pronto and raising requisitions as needed. Reviewing and approving supplier invoices before they are posted as a cost and sent to accounts payable. Assist, where required, with the investigation into stock variances Contribute to the improvement of the purchasing work flow practices to improve, quality, cost, timeliness or conveying of information to areas of the mine site in support of deliverables to relevant areas.
