Job Purpose

Serve as an important member of the purchasing/management team
Reduce procurement costs
Update pricing system/strategy on a national and global scale
Lead/manage warehouse logistics and stock
Enhance existing purchasing channels

Job Responsibility

Costing/purchasing of ships' parts, services and other needs;
Ensuring goods are delivered on time and within delivery schedules;
Liaison with customers and suppliers by email, face-to-face and over the phone;
Negotiation;
Identification of new suppliers and development of relationships with them;
Inventory control and stock take;
Managing and processing claims to/from suppliers including returning goods;
Authorize suppliers' invoices after goods receipt and invoicing matching;
Monitoring and updating data in the company's purchasing system;
Daily and weekly reporting & general administration support.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 1 year experience in an office environment, preferably relevant to purchasing;
Excellent written and spoken skills;
Intermediate in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel etc…);
