Purchasing Officer

This full-time Purchasing Officer role at Easytow Boat Trailers is based in Heathcote, VIC. You will be responsible for the purchasing and procurement of materials and inventory for the manufacturing and logistics operations of this leading boat trailer company.What you'll be doingManage the end-to-end purchasing process, including identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, placing orders and tracking deliveriesAnalyse inventory levels and purchase requirements to ensure stock availability and minimise excessLiaise with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery of materialsMaintain accurate records and documentation related to all purchasing activitiesIdentify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and achieve cost savingsSupport the development and implementation of procurement policies and proceduresWhat we're looking for2+ years' experience in a purchasing or procurement role, ideally within a manufacturing or logistics environmentStrong negotiation and contract management skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesProficient in using ERP systems and data analysis toolsKeen attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlinesAbout usEasytow Boat Trailers is a leading manufacturer of high-quality boat trailers in Australia.
