Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Full time Chatswood based company looking to onboard purchasing co-ordinator.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Monitor outstanding orders and update internal stakeholders with expected lead times and availability issues. Communicate within purchasing department to resolve availability issues that will delay or impede success of projects. Identify efficiencies and deficiencies within the procurement process to make recommendations that will drive success. Maintain clear communication between departments in regards to material purchases, providing concise and valuable information to collaborating associates. Assist to obtain all required approvals and maintain all spreadsheets. Assist with purchase of all materials within the required timeframe. Evaluate all purchase orders and ensure accuracy in all SKU and product plans. Collaborate with the logistics department to organize allocation and internal shipment of material when necessary. Maintain satisfaction of all consumers and monitor delivery of all products according to schedule and maintain quality standards of all products. Skills and Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years experience in purchasing and negotiating deals with suppliers, preferably in the technology industry. Strong analytical and problem solving skills to identify discrepancies and resolve issues and concerns. Extreme attention to detail. Effective communication skills.
