Airborne Solutions Australia provides aerial surveillance services under contract to the Australian Border Force as the largest civil maritime surveillance operation of its kind in the world, and a search-and-rescue capability across nearly 10 percent of the earth's surface under Australian Maritime Safety Authority.
Based in Adelaide reporting to the Head of Procurement and Logistics, this role is responsible for the procurement of aeronautical and commercial products to effectively support national Airborne Operations.
Job DescriptionKey Duties and Responsibilities Carry out procurement activities using business ERP in accordance with approved procedures.Ensure procurement activities are carried out to maximise operational support underpinned with cost control strategies.Action aircraft defect and stock material requisitions through to delivery.Expedite open orders with suppliers and freight partners.Monitor and manage supplier delivery performance including quality and cost control.Clearing goods inward rejections and invoice queries.Other duties as requested by the Head of Procurement and Logistics.QualificationsWe're on a mission to find our next Purchasing Officer, here's what we're looking for:
