Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Purchasing Officer to join their dynamic team. This role is based in the vibrant location of Osborne Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing regular expediting and overdue purchase order/dispatch follow-ups, supporting effective business operations and the procure-to-pay process. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive team environment, where your skills and experience will be highly valued.
What you'll do: Assist with general administration duties including emails, telephone correspondence to internal customers and routine generation of purchase orders.Proactively manage Vendor purchase orders and expedite issues to ensure on-time deliveries.Manage internal dispatches and expedite issues to ensure on-time deliveries to sites.Manage overdue purchase orders and follow up the business to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.Additional tasks as requested by your supervisor.Promote a HS&E culture that mitigates the risk of injury to personnel, damage to plant, equipment and environmental aspects of the operations.What you bring: Certificate in business studies/clerical administration/bookkeeping/accounting (desirable).Experience in administration.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
