Purchasing Officer

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Officer to join our client's procurement team. In this role, you'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives by managing supplier relationships, direct charge and inventory purchasing, overdue orders, and the coordination of rotable and repairable items.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure timely purchasing and delivery of goods and servicesHandle direct charge and inventory purchasingConvert service purchase ordersManage critical inventory re-orders and deliveries to avoid stock-outsNegotiate supplier transactionsProcess credit returnsExpedite orders to ensure on-time deliverySkills and Experience: 3+ years' experience within a similar roleStrong experience using ERP software, Pronto (essential)Mining experience preferredStrong communication and negotiation skills
