Purchasing Officer

Details of the offer

The primary purpose of this position is to provide day to day support to the Company's operations and support offices by purchasing and expediting the supply of goods and services.
Your day-to-day tasks will include, but are not be limited to:   Purchasing   Raise monthly Purchase Orders (PO's) for goods and services required by the Company's operations Run and review the Company's inventory Re-order report to ensure correct level of Goods are procured.
Raise and issue PO's to the Company approved Suppliers in line with the Company's inventory Re-order report.
Assist with Company site services and maintenance teams with the sourcing, mobilisation and demobilisation of minor plant and equipment required for operations / maintenance activities (forklifts, skids, generators, and pumps.
Etc.)
Expediting Daily Expediting of materials and services in order to secure the timely delivery to Site.
Expediting of specific goods and equipment required for the scheduled shutdown of the Company's Operations.
Coordinating deliveries with the warehouse against limiting storage capacities.
Assist with the track and trace process of goods sent off site for repairs.
Assist with daily management and flow of all reagents to and from site.
To be successful in your application for this position you will need:   Previous experience in a purchasing officer position.
Experience with the Pronto ERP system.
Current WA C Class Manual Driver's License.
Proficiency in Excel to develop automated and user-friendly reports.
Experience in the resourcing industry.
Operations background in Procurement is desirable.
