Due to the continual growth of our organisation, we are currently seeking applications for Purchasing Officer for our growing team based in Ingleburn, Sydney.
Overview Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, it's a full-time position that involves purchasing goods for the branch on a daily basis. The ideal candidate must possess similar experience in procurement and inventory management with great time management skills.
Your day-to-day routine will look something like this:
Develop key supplier relationships throughout the Sydney market. Place orders with suppliers. Manage all aspects of stock replenishment (DIFOT) with a focus on the life cycle. Regularly monitor, measure, and report on stock levels and stock-related issues. Manage and generate income via investment buying. Collate and manage supplier information. Regularly liaise with Customer Service and Warehouse departments at the branch level regarding stock-related matters. Ensure the application of accurate pricing. Analyse sales/purchasing report data on a regular basis. Other administrative tasks as required. All about you Previous experience working in a busy environment as a Replenishment / Procurement / Purchasing Officer. Strong background in inventory management. Display a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year.
