Purchasing Officer

At Tricolore Imports in Braeside we are looking for a reliable Purchasing officer for our wine import business.
Responsibilities

The Purchasing Officer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing premium Italian wines from a variety of Italian wineries and producers for Tricolore Imports Pty Ltd.
They will be required to identify suppliers, negotiate prices and contracts, manage supplier relationships and prepare purchase orders.
Tasks:

• Identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products and pricing.
• Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with suppliers.
• Prepares purchase orders
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and wineries.
• Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Requirements

• Proven working experience as a purchasing officer
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
• Competent in English and Italian
• Knowledge of Italian business relationships

Salary: $73150 to 75000
