About The Role 12 month opportunity to join our procurement team as a Purchasing Officer!
You will be responsible for:
Liaising and providing purchasing support to customers and suppliers with regards to purchasing and requisition processes.Developing processes to monitor compliance with expense management, spend behaviour and encourage appropriate practices to minimise risk for the organisation.Standardising product purchases and approved suppliers across nominated product categories.Assisting Scope with the sourcing, purchasing and consolidation of various goods and services, including managing backorders, discrepancies, and ongoing standing orders.About You 2+ years experience in a purchasing role and thrives in a customer-centric environment.Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent collaboration, influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with all levels of managers and staff.Previous experience managing suppliers and stakeholders in a service environment will be highly sought, along with a commercially minded and innovative approach.We are committed to filling this role quickly, so while applications for this role will close on Friday, 6th December 2024, we will be reviewing applications as they come in and may interview suitable candidates prior to the closing date.
