AO3 Purchasing Officer 3 months with possible extension $46.27 + super per hour Queensland Government Caboolture ASAP Start The Role Fantastic opportunity to join this great team environment in a Procurement Support Officer role where you will provide support to the procurement section. Your duties will include: Reviewing data in ellipse and creating Purchase Orders. Issuing works/services tenders, training will be provided. Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of legislative and departmental requirements for procurement, and actively promoting awareness of procurement as a key business function to all departmental staff. Providing a range of administrative support functions to members of the Procurement section as required. Working in a fast paced environment with KPI's and mechanisms to measure and monitor performance. You The successful candidate will have fast and accurate data entry with a minimum of 6 months experience in either an invoicing or accounts related role. You will be able to demonstrate the following: Previous experience in Purchasing/Procurement highly desirable Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook experience essential Comfortable using various databases and high attention to detail Ability to work in a fast paced environment with kpi's Excellent communication skills Self motivated and able to work independently Government experience highly desirable To be considered for this position, please apply below with your cv and cover letter in Microsoft word format.
