Delta Facilities Management offers maintenance, construction, and project management services to a diverse range of sectors, including defence organisations, schools, offshore projects and remote resources industries. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Purchasing Officer to join the team at our Cannon Hill Office in Brisbane.
The Position This position will be based out of the Brisbane Support Office in Cannon Hill working Monday to Friday with occasional travel across different sites. This role may be offered as a Hybrid role to the right candidate. Reporting to the Manager - Operations Support, you will be responsible for ensuring the following:
Liaise with site teams to understand purchasing requirementsIdentify suitable products from company approved suppliers using online webstores and direct communicationCreate purchase orders in accordance with company standards in the ERPObtain purchase order financial approvals in accordance with the company delegation of authorityLiaise with site teams on the receipt of purchased items and update in the ERPIdentify and raise supplier queries for incomplete / incorrect deliveriesProvide system training to site usersLiaise with senior managers on supplier invoice approval and financial codingIdentify inventory requirements for sites and update products within site warehouses including suppliers, purchase prices, min / max levels and classificationOccasional travel to site for training and supportOther ad hoc tasks as requiredThe Person Purchasing Officer experience or similar requiredMicrosoft Office suite experience and high level of computer literacyKnowledge of Pronto or other ERP / CMMS is desirableStrong attention to detailTeam Player and able to work autonomouslyFlexible approach and attitudeExcellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholdersAbility to travel to site as requiredFacilities maintenance experience preferableThe Benefits Paid parental leaveMultiple salary packaging options to make your dollar go furtherEasy access to 100+ retail discountsOpportunity to learn new skills and move to different internal rolesAbove award wagesA chance to join an ecologically and socially forward operationIf you are seeking your next challenge, why not apply to join our global organisation or contact me via
