Transport / Logistics / Drivers Purchasing Brisbane Permanent / Full Time 7/11/2024 Lindsay Rural prides itself on knowing the needs of growers Key administration role in our Purchasing team based at Acacia Ridge Full or Part Time | School-based hours considered About the Company:       The Lindsay Australia Group proudly operates an extensive Rural and National Transport and Logistics business across various locations connecting growers, regional communities and businesses with cities and sellers of fresh food across Australia.
As part of the group Lindsay Rural supplies farmers with an extensive range of agricultural products including packaging, fertilisers, chemicals, and irrigation equipment.
The integrated end-to-end rural solutions package also provides customers with the benefits of utilising Lindsay Transport's refrigerated fleet to deliver rural supplies to farms and transporting fresh produce direct to major east coast markets.
The Role:   Based at Acacia Ridge, our Purchasing Administration Officer is responsible for the quality driven procurement administration for the Lindsay Rural purchasing environment.
For our preferred candidate we are open to flexible office-based work hours, including part time and school hours, through to full time.
Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to: Reviewing & auditing customer and supplier claims Entering and checking a high volume of agency sales and reconciliations Validating customer pricing and terms and ensuring accuracy of payments Updating and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics supplier details and raising purchase orders.
Collaborating with accounts team to ensure payments are on-time.
Submitting Purchase orders in onto Supplier Online Portals accurately Monitoring freight accounts and ensuring effective delivery.
Evaluating cost effective options and methods of operation Ad hoc duties supporting the Procurement Manager as required.
About You:   To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate: Prior experience in purchasing and/or logistics with end-to-end payment & purchase order processing experience.
An understanding of contracts, terms & conditions Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills A working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics / Dynamics 365 Strong attention to detail and data entry skills Superior customer service skills with a positive and friendly demeanour We pride ourselves on working in a way that brings our Values to life every day.
